	William Vandon Leonard was the son of William M. Leonard and Aby Wilson Leonard. He was the grandson of Turner Wilson and unknown. He married Mattie Collins and later, Bettie Collins. He was the father of Ed Leonard, William Victor Leonard, Albert Luther Leonard, Rowena Leonard, and Curtis R. Leonard. Curtis R. Leonard was killed at age 13 while hunting with family members. The shotgun he was carrying accidentally discharged while he was climbing a fence and he was shot in the neck.


	This is the marker of Robert Wiley Carter, son of Robert N. Carter and Amanda Hays of Smith County and later, Wesson MS. Robert was both a sotrekeeper and, at one time, a Justice of the Peace in Wesson. His younger brother Andrew N. Carter also served as JP in Wesson at one time.
