CORINTHIAN'S GRANDSON DROWNED
Steven Turner Stevens, grandson of Mrs.
Pearl Stevens of Corinth, accidentally
drowned Friday night in Lake Michigan.
A search was still underway this morning to locate the body
of the victim. Stevens was employed by
Aaburn Sewer Service in Chicago where he had been working
for two years prior to the accident.
Stevens, 23, lived at 5356 S. Hallstead
Street in Chicago. He was born in South Plainsfield, New
Jersey.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by McPeters
Mortuary when they are complete.
Stevens is also survived by his mother,
Mrs. Donnie S. Swanzy of Lufkin, Texas; and
4 sisters, Miss Sherry Swanzy, Miss Jane
Swanzy and Miss Susan Swanzy,
all of Lufkin.
