MRS. STEPHENSON BURIED TODAY
Mrs. S.L. Stephenson, Jr., widow of Dr. Samuel L. Stephenson, 1217 Fillmore Street, Corinth, died Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at Magnolia Hospital. Mrs. Stephenson was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held today at 1 p.m. at McPeters Chapel with the Rev. W.F. Appleby and Father Paul Mattel officiating.  Interment was in Henry Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephenson leaves two sons, Dr. Samuel L. Stephenson II of Jackson, Mississippi, and Lindsey H. Stephenson of Corinth; a daughter, Mrs. Jane S. Hix of Memphis; and a grandson, E.H. Hix III of Memphis.
Pallbearers were Dr. E.A. White III, R.C. Johnson, W.C. Sweat, Jr., David Palmer III, Clifford Worsham and Loyd Smith.
