R.C. WILBANKS
CORINTH-R.C. Wilbanks, 78, died Sunday, July 28, 1996, at the North
Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was retired from the Tippah
County Highway Department and was a member of the Countyline Baptist
Church.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the Countyline Baptist Church
with the Rev. Eddie Bumpers officiating. Burial will be in the
Countyline Cemetery in Walnut. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Barnes Wilbanks of Walnut; 3 sons,
Bobby Wilbanks of Jackson, Sammy Wilbanks of Senatobia and Mikey
Wilbanks of Corinth; 6 daughters, Lola Bell and Sharon James, both
of Walnut, Ann Luna and Brenda Johnson, both of Ripley, Patty
Blansett of Pontotoc and Deborah Jones of New Orleans; 1 brother,
Leo Wilbanks; 2 sisters, Modena Crum and Odie Shaw; 23 grandchildren
and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, David Wilbanks.
