SERVICES AT CHAPEL FOR MRS. WHIRLEY
Mrs. Kate Johnson Whirley of 817 Main Street, Corinth, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday at Magnolia Hospital.
The wife of the late Luther Fred Whirley, she was 83.
Funeral services were held today at 1 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment was in Hinkle Creek Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Reeves Whirley of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Ned Whirley of Corinth, Stanley Whirley of New York; four daughters, Mrs. Velma Boatwright of Abbeville, Mississippi, Mrs. Ruby Monroe of Memphis, Mrs. Nadine Powell of Destin, Florida, Mrs. Nelda Tinin of Little Rock, Arkansas; a sister, Mrs. Lela Miller of Rienzi; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
