JOSH PERRY DIES AT 78 IN MEMPHIS
Joseph J. (Josh) Perry, 78, of Route 1, Burnsville, died at 2:10
a.m. this morning at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis.
He was a native of Tishomingo County and was a member of the New
Liberty Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the New Liberty
Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Otis Perry and Jimmy Bryant.
Burial will be in the Iuka City Cemetery.
He was married to Florence Jane Gable of Dennis, Mississippi, in
1915.
Survivors include two sons, Preston Perry, Memphis, Tennessee, and
David L. Perry, Burnsville, Mississippi; three daughters, Mrs.
Evelyn Holcomb, Hammond, Indiana, Mrs. Ruby Nash, Burnsville, and
Mrs. Jeroline Stanford, Memphis, a brother, the Rev. C.C. Perry,
Glen, Mississippi; and a sister, Miss Lexie Perry, Dennis,
Mississippi.
