SERVICES HELD FOR ALEXANDER
Funeral services were
to be held at 3:30 p.m. today for Irl Robert
Alexander, a retired employee of GM&O Railroad
and a resident of Corinth for 41 years.
Services were to be conducted by the Rev. P.A.
Michel and the Rev. Paul Keeling.
Pallbearers are C.B. Stephens, Gilbert
Steen, R.J. Brownlee,
Howard Kemp, John Sanders,
and L.W. Coleman.
Honorary pallbearers
are J.T. Davis, John W. Jones,
C.P. Dean, members of the W.C.
Sweat Sunday School Class, and local employees
of GM&O Railroad.
Alexander is survived by his wife, Mrs.
Edan Lee Alexander, three sons; Irl
Thomas Alexander, of Corinth, Johnny L.
Alexander of Hattiesburg, and J.R.
Alexander of Dallas, Texas; a daughter,
Miss Dorothy Alexander of Memphis,
Tennessee; and two brothers, Sam C. Alexander
of Tallulah, Louisiana and J.W. Alexander
of Festus, Missouri.
Burial was to be at Henry Cemetery with Coleman
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
