RIPLEY-Gladys Stroupe Wilbanks,
76, died Thursday at her residence. She was the
widow of Cecil L. Wilbanks, a
homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at
McBride Funeral Home Chapel with Dr.
Jack Bennett officiating.
Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Catherine
Linehan of Fayetteville, North
Carolina, and Johnnie Goudy of
Ripley; one son, Bobby Carl Rainer,
Sr., of Ripley; one sister, Mrs. W.L.
Rainer, Sr. of Memphis; one brother,
Tommy L. Stroupe of Memphis;
seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
