DICKERSON RITES SET
FOR TODAY AT WHEELER GROVE (1957)
Services for Frank Z.
Dickerson of Hickory Flat Community were scheduled to be held
this afternoon at 4 o'clock, at the Wheeler Grove Church with Rev. M.L.
Pruitt in charge. Mr. Dickerson, a
farmer, died at 12:30 p.m. yesterday at his home of what was described
by physicians as a heart attack. He was 67 years of age.
Interment was to be in the
Wheeler Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Dickerson
was born at Ramer, Tenn., but spent most of his life in Alcorn County
where he was self-employed as a farmer. He was married to Florence
Evans, who preceded him in death in 1920, and later to
Pauline Rogers, who died in 1932. He was a member of
the Methodist church.
He leaves three sons, Robert
Dickerson and E.R. Dickerson, both of
Corinth; and Joe Dickerson, who is with the U.S. Navy
in Germany; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Nunley of
Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Walter Dickerson of
Memphis, Tenn., and Ramar Dickerson of Hickory Flat;
and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be George
Chambers, Frank Hinton, Archie
Wamsley, Bill Miskelley, Millard
Phillips and James Evans.
Perkins
Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
