Funeral services for David
Clyde Smith, 55, of Kossuth, were held at 11 a.m. today
at Jumpertown Methodist Church. Rev. F.A. Collins
officiating. Burial was in Jumpertown Cemetery.
He died suddenly at the
Community Hospital at 6:15 Tuesday. He had been a farmer all his life.
Survivors are his father,
David E. Smith; four brothers, Grady and Guy A.
Smith, both of Kossuth, Bill Smith of Memphis
and Irvin Smith of Booneville; and two sisters, Mrs.
William Morton and Mrs. Willie Avent,
both of Memphis.
Pallbearers were Chester
Talley, Cliff Hughes, Ronald
Coleman, James Darwin, Clarence
Kitchens, Chester Smith, Leland James
and J.C. Mills.
Coleman
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
