Cletus "Cap" Wilbanks, 87, died Saturday, March 9, 1996, at his home. He was a
retired farmer and a member of the Pentecostal church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Community Pentecostal Church with the Rev.
J.C. Hall, the Rev. Randle Flake and the Rev. Kerry Sanford officiating. Burial
will be in the church cemetery. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of the
arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Carolyn Wilbanks of Corinth; four sons, Lester
Wilbanks, Franklin Wilbanks and Jimmy Wilbanks, all of Walnut, and Fred Wilbanks
of Ripley; four daughters, Martha Jones, Mattie Spencer, Marie Faulkner and
Gracie Crum, all of Walnut; three brothers, K.C. Wilbanks and Waymon Wilbanks,
both of Walnut, and Aaron Wilbanks of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Ethel Green,
Lucy Dees and Magie Thornton, all of Walnut; 36 grandchildren, 54 great
grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jo Luttman. |
