Esther Roselle Ruth, 90, of Longview passed away Nov. 1, 2011, at the Hospice
Care Center.
She was born Aug. 8, 1921, in Louisville, Miss., to George and Virena (Miles)
Robertson.
Esther worked as a waitress and enjoyed gardening and art, especially oil
painting. She was quite the accomplished artist. Her husband, William Charles
Ruth owned a plane and Esther shared his love of flying.
She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and two sisters.
Two sisters, Mary Pratt of Molalla, Ore., and Tharis Reiff of Hillsboro, Ore.,
survive her.
A funeral service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Columbia Funeral Service
chapel. Chaplain Lyle Prather will officiate.
