John TYSON moved from Beaufort SC, I think, to the Woodville Ms area
in between 1803 and 1825. One of his daughters Mary Catherine Charity TYSON
married William Allen Lane of New Glouster Maine and then Clinton or Ethel
Louisiana in 1825. She died in 1834 and WAL married her sister Ann Naomi
TYSON. Another sister, Louisa TYSON married Clinton attorney, Thomas L.
Andrews and they moved to Illinois in 1844.
Anyone have info on when John TYSON came to Woodville and anything
else? Thanks,

Had a number of children to include Fred Ogden NASH b. 10 August 1897 in

My direct ancestor, William HEWITT (born @ 1750 in VA) married Tamsy/Tracey
WILKINSON from MS. After the Revolution, William retired to Amite,
MS, in or near Wilkinson County, near his wife's family, and we presume
he was buried in that area. I am trying to find whether he
fought in the
Revolutionary War, and definitely connect him with his sons James &
John, who moved onto KY and MO. He may have received a land warrant/grant
for his Rev. War service. Thank you for any help you can give!
