I am searching for any information about the Woodstock Plantation or the Woodstock Cemetery or reference to any MONTGOMERY family members. I believe there is a family cemetery on the plantation.

Need info on Willis L. Ballard's son Aquilla BALLARD b. LA, m Clara ADKINS October 24, 1845 in Wilkinson County, MS.
POSEY, TURNBULL
I am trying to find info on John Brooks POSEY born 1784 and died in 8-14-1838
in Woodville, MS. He settled on a tract of Follambray-forest in
9-16-1810. He had a son name Judge Stanhope Posey born 3-17-1813 in
Wilkinson County and died in Woodville. He made his home on Lizeton
Terrace plantation. He died in 1859. He was an attorney of the 1st
judicial district of MS 1845-53 and was a judge from 1854-1855. He had a
daughter name Laura Elizabeth Posey b. 7-6-1839 and d. 2-26-1895 in Wilkinson
County. She was married to Abraham Martin TURNBULL b. 7-17-1825 and d.
4-12-1879 in Woodville, MS and they inherited Lizeton Terrace plantation.
In 1968 a cemetery was located on Charles Stockett property with the Posey name
above. We were told Prentice Ferguson owned it now. We would like to
find the graveyard and property called Lizeton Terrace. Any help with the
above people or Lizeton Terrace plantation or cemetery would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you.

I am seeking early settlers, Robert and Jesse Munson (Monson); Their sons, Micaijah b. 1788 in SC and Henry William b. Natchez, MS and Tellfair Munson.
Also seeking the Everett family for Elizabeth Everett, b. 1794 in NC who
married Micaijah B. Munson. They were in Wilkinson County from 1800 -1815. Property was on the Bayou Sara.
Wills were posted by William Chaney. Migrated to Texas in 1821. Any information is appreciated.

I am searching for some information on the who owned farms and property in Woodville. William V. Keary came from Ireland born 1778. He was married to Elizabeth Foley in Wilkinson Co., MS, May 6, 1810. Three sons were Patrick, William, Hough. They sold their farms and went to Louisiana and purchased 40,000 acres in Avoyelles and Rapides Parishes. Patrick married Helen Davis (Jefferson Davis's niece.) Any way their bodies were all brought back to Woodville to be buried and laid to rest in the old Keary burying ground. (Information from William O'Neal, the Man who Sold His Wife (book) by Eakin. Any other info on the Keary's would be appreciated.

Does anyone know the parents of Martha Smith who married Simon Price in Adams County, MS in 1813? In 1816 State census for Wilkinson County, MS shows Martha Price as head of household indication Simon died sometime prior to the census taking. In 1817 Martha Price married John Smith in Amite County. From late censuses it is apparent she had two children (females) from her first marriage to Simon Price. Any help appreciated.

Seeking any information on my ancestor, Zachariah Walker (May be spelled Zackariah?) born about 1870. He married Mary Leatherman (daughter of Peter Leatherman also of Wilkinson County). They had a daughter, Barbara Walker, born 13 Jan 1805 who married Wiley Deloach, brother of Emeline Deloach, on 20 March 1834 (also of Wilkinson County who married Zachariah's son, Benjamin Walker). I have references to Zachariah in 1813 Tax Records and 1805 State Census but would like to know exact birth, marriage and death dates as well as names of mother and father. Any other details on either Zachariah or his son Benjamin would be greatly appreciated.

She was born 1808 in Louisiana. William is the son of William Roddy, Sr. and Maria Catherine Thomas. He was born April 7, 1804 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Children of William Roddy, Jr. and Mary Catherine Simpson were: Marie Catherine Roddy, William Roddy, Arma Barby Roddy, John N. Roddy, Henry Roddy, Amelia Roddy, Eveline Roddy, Thomas Jefferson Roddy and Richard "Dick" Roddy.

Seeking info on Alex Leak married to Nettie L. "Nannie" Partin. Alex was the son of John Thomas Leak married to Amanda Eugenia Day. Brothers of John Thomas were Carroll, Douglas, William, Hardy and sister Amanda Elizabeth Leak Ogden. He lived in Wilkinson County, (Coles) but died in Coahoma County, MS. Want help and info about James Johns of Wilkinson County. His first wife was Rebecca Harriet Wilkinson. They married in 1829. Second wife was Sarah A. Faust Longmire. They married in 1849. I'm searching for the parents and siblings of Amanda Sanders Hudgins. Amanda b. 8 Jan 1854 in MS d. 26 Jan 1926 at Merigold, MS. She married Ira (?) Hudgins and they had three children: Molly, Edward and Helen, all born in MS. I located a census from Wilkinson County, MS in 1880 and Ira had died and Amanda was a widow at that time. The census stated that Amanda's mother and father (Sanders) we born in LA. Amanda married again in 1890 to J. C. Crowley in Bolivar Co., MS. Molly Hudgins, my grandmother, b. 24 Dec 1873 in MS d. 28 Aug 1949 at Merigold, MS. Edward b. 1875 and Helen b. 1877. Between 1877 and 1880 Ira died and I believe that Ira Hudgins is buried in Wilkinson Co., MS. If any one has any information about Amanda's ancestors, would your please send me the information.

I'm looking for the family of Harriet Weathersby, who married James M. C. Yeats (Yates) in 1842 in Wilkinson Co., MS.
