In the name of God Amen I MARTHA FOLEY of Wilkinson county Mississippi Territory being weak in boday but of sound and perfect
mind and memory blessed be the Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last "Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say principaly and first of all I recommend my soul to Almighty God that gave it and my Boday to be buried in a decent Christian like manner at the discretion of my beloved husband PATRICK FOLEY and as and as touching my worldly affairs in the first place the tract of land lying on the Homichitto taken out in my name when MARTHA DAVIS is to remain
in the possession of my husband Patrick Foley for the term of one year after my death at which period it must be sold public vender and to the equally divided amongst my beloved children namely ROBERT LEWIS ,
SUSANAH and MARTHA reserving one fifth part of said amount to my youngest children namely MARY ANN, ELIZABETH JAMES WILLIAM and LUCY FOLEY and I do likewise will and bequeath to my youngest children, MARY AN ELIZABETH JAMES WILLIAM and LUCY FOLEY all and every part of my remaining property to be equally divided amongst them and in case any of the youngest children above mentioned should die without issue the survivors shall have their property divided equally amongst them and be it further understood that it is my desire that the two old Negroes TOM and KATE his wife may be set free at my death and in case of their not being able to support themselves to be helped by the heirs concerned and last by I do here by appoint my beloved husband
PATRICK FOLEY of the above mentioned county and territory and by beloved sons, ROBERT and LEWIS DAVIS and ROBERT W. CARLIN all three of the district of New Felicianna my whole and sole executors of
this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in Witness where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this Twenty seven day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three.    MARTHA FOLEY

signed sealed sealed? published and declared by the aboved name MARTHA FOLEY to be her last will and Testament in the present of us who have here unto subscribed our names as witnessed precent of the Testator.

Mississippi Territory, ADAMS COUNTY,
Be it remembered that JOHN PRENTICE one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing & annexed last Will & Testament of MARTHA FOLEY personally appeared before and made oath that the said MARTHA FOLEY
did in his presence & in the presence of the other subscribing witnesses
sign with her own hand the said instrument and did declare & publish it lo her last Will and Testament.
Given under my hand this 23rd Day of
