| This photo (actually it is the front side of a post card) was contributed by Joe Mercer of Memphis, Tn, who found it at a Civil War show 8 years ago. Neither he nor I have any idea what year it was taken. I suspect it was around the turn of the century. If anyone can give me an educated guess as to what year this could be, I sure would appreciate it! Note "King Hardware and Lumber" at the right of the photo...this could be a clue. |
