SPRINGS CEMETERY
UNION COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI (Located off of C.R. 278 seven miles Southeast of New Albany) |
November 1, 1997
This cemetery is in an interesting spot adjacent to the "Wilson Trace", an old abandoned road that cuts through the woods, but no longer connects to any other roads. The cemetery is in tragic condition, all of the stones are broken or damaged. The cemetery was abandoned years ago. It appeared to be a small family type cemetery. I am not 100% sure about the name. There may be other graves located there, but I was unable to find any others. Margret J Dill Wife Of M Dill Born May 22 1798, Died Nov 13 1867 (?)
