To the clerk of the county court of Tishomingo County, Mississippi, Sir, you will please sign my name on a deed made by Levi Williams and Charles Coursey to M.A. Simmons some time in the year 1858 or 1859.  I was one of the trustees of the land mentioned in said deed, agreed to the sale of said land, but was not present when said deed was made a space was left for my name to be added, by so doing you will much oblige.
