Tishomingo County is home to two of Mississippi's State Parks: J. P. Coleman State Park and Tishomingo State Park.

The Bay Springs Recreational Area also offers recreational opportunities shared by Tishomingo and Prentiss County residents.

Tishomingo County is home to the highest point in the state of Mississippi, Woodall Mountain.
