Oldham is located five miles east of Iuka in the wooded hills of Tishomingo County. In earlier years, twelve families were reported living in unpainted cabins, which encircled Union Church, and thus made up the village. Memphis Stone and Gravel Company owned a large business which employed most of the people in the village, and maintained a store there.
