Hazard

Hazard was a lonely mountain village, clinging to the edge of a steep ravine, as its name suggest. Small crops of corn and cotton were raised here. Most of the scattered houses were log cabins, and the natives were typical Tishomingo Countains, independent, hardy and somewhat resentful of intrusions by strangers.
