James A. Baker (Power of Attorney) deeds to E.A. O'Neal

Whereas some years ago for a valuable consideration then paid by Wilson Carroll since deceased of Lauderdale Co., AL, testater then conveyed to him all my interest as an heir at law of my father, Elijah Baker, lately deceased intestate of said Lauderdale Co. in and to a certain tract of land in Tishomingo County, MS...NW 1/4 of section 24 township 5 range 6 east...I, James A. Baker, of the town of Huntsville do sell until Gen. Edward A. O'Neal as executor of the last will and testament of the said Wilson Carroll for the use of said Carroll's estate...dated June 6, 1870...
