She being in a low state of health after preaching (a quorum of members
of Pleasant Hill Church
being present) Sister Jane McMillin expressed a desire to become a
member and made the
following Statement at an early period of her life she embraced a hope
and connected her self
with the Primitive Baptist Church sometime after her Pastor (Hopewood
by name) left the
church joining the Campbelites several of the members she among them
went with him she
confessed her error to the Church and asked to be restored in the Church
acted accordingly
restoring her to full fellowship

All being in peace Visiting Brethren and sisters were invited to Seats
with us Opened door for reception of members when Sister Caroline Rich
came forward and on the relation of the travel of her mind received with
full fellowship after being Baptized called for reference when the case
of Bro. Lee & wife for continued absence was taken up he being present
arose and stated that the distance he lives and the continued ill health
of Sister Lee make up the cause of their absence
and the church agree to forgive them
The case of Bro Pleasant Hopper for Bankruptcy was next considered
and from the fact before us we believed that he has acted in bad faith
and failing to give Satisfaction he is therefore excluded this day from
Pleasant Hill Church the Baptism of Sister Sarah J. Autry deferred from
last meeting and that of Sister Caroline Rich will be attended to at the
pool on
tomorrow morning He also recommenced Bro J. A. Norton for Ordering
at our next meeting it being the time of our Union Meeting which will meet
with us at that time done in conference Saturday before 3rd Lord’s
day in June 1868
