A visitor is Rufus Paseur of Little Rock, Arkansas, who is a son of Eli Franklin Paseur, who was born at Dallas, N.C., Jan. 1843, served in the CSA, and moved to Ashland, Miss., in 1867, where Rufus was born. Eli F. Paseur was a brother to Simon Peter, David R., Caleb, George I., John, Miles, and Ephraim. John died young. Ephraim was killed in the Civil War. Caleb and Miles moved to Mississippi. Simon, David, and George remained in North Carolina. Their sisters were Annie who married William Garrison and Malinda who married Louis Linebarger.
