This picture was taken shortly after their wedding in 1908. Effie Lee was the daughter of William H. H. Dickerson who was the son of John N. Dickerson.  John N. was a brother of Charles Pinkney Dickerson and their parents were James and Elizabeth McCay Dickerson.  The Dickersons came to Tippah Co., MS from Greenville District, S. C. about 1842.  This Bible was copied by Asa Garland Dickerson in 1985.  The Bible was owned by Katherine Aline Barnet Cook.  She was the daughter of Effie Lee Dickerson & Henry Thomas Barnett.
