Crawford School, sometimes known as Hickory Grove, was located six miles northeast of Senatobia.
This was also used as a church and was first listed in the teachers listings for 1874 as being in District 4, Beat 2.
In 1890, the trustees were A.L. RUSSELL, W.W. GARRETT, Sid BENSON, Henry DEAN, and M.WILLIAMS with the teachers listed as J.D. THORNTON, Gus LOMAX, M.E. SMITH and H.C. ASKEW.
