Our Community was again made sad this week to learn of the very sudden death of MRS. DONNIE PRATT of Love Station, formally of this place. MRS. PRATT was a fine lady, loved by all who knew her. She was the daughter of MR. & MRS. LEE SOWELL, who died here. She was a sister to MRS. MONROE POAG, MRS. DOCK BOURLAND, MRS. TOM WALLACE, MESSERS. JIM, BEN and BEAL SOWELL. She leaves three children, MRS. PEARL WILKERSON, MRS. MYRAIN DAVIS and son ALVIS PRATT, besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. But our loss is heaven's eternal gain. MRS. PRATT was a good Christian woman, member of the C. M. Church at Jackson Chapel in Desoto County. Of course we all must die, and that is right, but Oh! how hard it is to give up our loved ones. To see them forever shut away in the earth from our eyes, never to see them on earth again. Never to hear their loving voices. Oh! it's hard. I have experienced all of it. And it's something one can't forget, or I can't. I never go to a funeral and see the casket, that I don't feel like my own precious darling lying there and my heart almost breaks. But that is wrong. I know it is. But that's the human side. We should if we could try to feel that they had only gone on ahead to be there to welcome us.
