Mrs. Ethel Dean Mock
Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Dean Mock were held on February twenty-sixth at 10:30 a.m. at the C O Pate Funeral Home.
Dr John Flowers, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Bethesda Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were John Bryant, Joe Holder, Jr., James Brents, J C Holcombe, Charles Dean
and Ottie Taylor.
Mrs. Mock died at her home in Senatobia on February twenty-fourth, following a heart attack. She was seventy-eight years old.
Born on April 30, 1884, Mrs. Mock was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H A
Dean. She attended Blackburn College of Senatobia and was married to J F Mock in 1913. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Senatobia.
She is survived by two sons, Melvin Mock of Senatobia and M D Mock of Kansas City, Kansas. She also leaves two sisters;
Mrs. A J Davis of Senatobia and Mrs. Brutonia DuPont of San Francisco, California, three grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
