Last Wednesday afternoon interment was made in Greenleaf Cemetery of the mortal body of MR. JOE LEWIS of Hernando whose tragic death was a shock to relatives and friends. He leaves a wife and a large family of children who have our sympathy.
Among those from a distance who were present at the funeral were Rev. and Mrs. Randolph, Mr. and Mrs. Busby and son, of Red Banks, Mr. and Mrs. ALFRED STRICKLAND, of Memphis and others from near by points.

Died
Mrs. V C Lewis of Greenleaf neighborhood suddenly dropped dead on last Wednesday. The cause of her death was supposed to have been heart failure. She was about 65 years of age and leaves a husband three sons and three daughters to mourn her death. Her remains were buried at Greenleaf Cemetery on Thursday afternoon.
