I believe my 2nd Great Grandmother was one of the 11 children of James J Irby who died in Simpson Co. about 1884. I was wondering if someone has access to probate records to see if he may have left a will or there was any administration of his estate? Felicia Ann Irby married Anslem Morgan Williamson about 1848. They appear in the 1850 Rankin Co., MS census.   Sherri Schrat

I am looking for links to the following couples in Rankin and or Simpson Counties.
Tilghman Jasper Ponder/Addie Spillyard(s) and Tildon S. Ponder/ Elma Pearl Brown. 
There seems to be a lot of info on the Ponders but I really need help with the Brown and Spillyard ancestors. Elma's parents were James Bryant (Jim) Brown and Carrie Etta Rainer, Jim's parents were Rial Green Brown and Marth Ann (mattie) Russell. We have nothing on Add Spillyard. Thanks for any help, Myrna

I have been trying to find the names of Henson H.Harris's parents for 7 years now with no luck.  I wonder if anyone has a record of his death in 1900 in Simpson cty. that I could have.  The courthouse said they have it but I would have to come there.  I live in Texas.

I've always been told that my paternal g-grandmother was Blanddina or Blaudena Moore and my g-grandfather was Edmond Moore. I recently found out that her first name was Sarah and her middle name Blaudena or Blandina. And apparently her daughter, my grandmother Minnie Bell Moore was illegitimate. Her maternal grandfather, Sarah's father, is Edmond Moore. Sarah had at least 3 other daughters, Ollie, Emma Sue or Susan and Mettie. On the 1900 Simpson Co. census she's says she's single and has 5 living children but I don't know if the 5th one is a boy or girl. I didn't know anything about it. Any info on this family will be appreciated.    Lorraine
