MARRIAGE BOND
THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI } Know all Men by these Presents:
SCOTT COUNTY }
That we Arch McCoy and R.J. McCoy of the county of Scott, and
State of Mississippi, are held and firmly bound unto the State of
Mississippi in the penal sum of TWO HUNDRED DOLARS, current money of
the United States of America, which payment, well and truly to be made
and performed, we and each of us, do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs,
executors, administrators and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly
by these presents.
WITNESS our hands and seals, this the 10th day of Jany A.D. 1887.
The condition of this Obligation is such, that whereas application
has this day been made to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the County of
Scott, and State aforesaid, for the granting and issuing of License for
the Marriage of Arch McCoy and Miss Mattie Weems. Now, therefore, if
there be no lawful cause to obstruct the marriage for which this License
is granted, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full
force and effect.

To any Regularly Authorized Minister of the Gospel, Judge, Member
of the Board of Supervisors, or any Acting Justice of the Peace for said
County -- GREETING:
You, or either of you, are hereby authorized to solemnize
the RITE OF MATRIMONY between ARCH MCCOY
and MATTIE WEEMS and join them together as man
and wife in the holy state of wedlock; your official
certificate whereof you are to return, together with
this License, into the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
of said County, within the time prescribed by law.
WITNESS my hand and seal of the said
Circuit Court of said County,
this the 10th day of Jany A.D. 1887

IN VIRTUE OF THE ABOVE LICENSE, the Rite of Matrimony between
Arch McCoy and Miss Mattie Weems was duly celebrated by me on the
10th day of January 1887.
