A.J. Dalton, trustee deeds to Thomas Burress
Dated June 4, 1883...whereas on December 8, 1879 Toney Ragan and his wife, Louisa and Henry Burress and his wife, Eliza executed and delivered to the party of the first part as trustee a deed of trust on the following lands lying in Prentiss County...80 acres of the northeast quarter of section 27 township 5 range 6 east (see description in deed)...also 20 acres of the southwest quarter of section 23 township 5 range 6 east (see description in deed) containing 100 acres more or less the same to secure to Soloman Dalton the sum of 1000.00 being for the purchase money due thereon and whereas the said Toney Ragan and his wife Louisa and Henry Burress and his wife Eliza have failing to pay off and discharge said indebtedness at maturity and according to the terms of said deed of trust...at the request of S. Dalton advertise said lands for sale...
