Altitude
Altitude is located on Highway 364 northeast of Booneville. The Hare family came from England and were among the first settlers to homestead the area.
After 1927 there were two stores and a post office, a grist mill, a barber shop and a sawmill in Altitude. The first church was called Bulah Balitist Church of Christ deeded December 29, 1855.
