Ferrell School

1918

Located between Springville and Toccopola, Ferrell was consolidated with other schools and moved to Springville.  The teacher was Mr. Thurman Dixon who lived at Thaxton and walked to school every day.  He is standing on the front row in a World War I army uniform.
