This is the site of the Baptist Female Academy and the first hospital in the Pontotoc County area. The hospital was created by Dr. Rayburn around 1935. Many locals as well as some famous people were born at this hospital such as:
(Thad Cochran, Republican Senator)

This is now a private residence and has stood since 1850.
