Crash Kills B.G. Bullard Two Companions
Are Hospitalized Ecru (special) - Bennie Gay Bullard of the
Hurricane community, who was a plumber and electrician, was
killed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in a head on collision between his
truck and a car at Hurricane. He was 35. Injured in the car were
Freddie Russell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clay Russell, and Burlon
Quillin. Russell was transferred to a Memphis hospital, the
extent of his injuries not having been determined while Quillin
was admitted to Pontotoc Community Hospital. Services for Mr.
Bullard will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Sand Springs
Methodist Church with the Revs. Mally Brown, Doug Jones, and
Jimmy Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery
with Browning Funeral Home of Ecru in charge. He leaves his wife
Mrs. Susie Viola Bullard, to whom he was married on Jan. 27 of
this year; his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Ben F. Bullard of Hurricane;
two sisters Mrs. Carl Warren of Hurricane and Mrs. Lenward
McWhirter of Pontotoc, Rt. 5 and a brother, J. B. Bullard of
Thaxton. The body will be at the home of his parents until time
for services. |
