This cemetery was used between 1846 and 1855. It was located about 500 yards behind the old Bramlett homeplace on Toxish Road, Pontotoc County, Mississippi. A new tombstone was put up in the cemetery on July 11, 2010 by Thomas Wayne Whitehead, Shannon, Mississippi (husband of Mae Mallory Whitehead, a descendant of Jesse Hughes Bramlett and Esther Welborn Bramlett) This was done by donations from several of their descendants)
Ambrose Bramlett, The Progenitor, Was Born In Virginia And Died In Wilkes Co. Georgia In 1804. Coming from highway 15 toward Toxish Baptist Church. Turn left on the road at crossroad. Go to 1st Mobile home on right. The cemetery is on west side of road about 100 yards. You will have to walk across the field to the woods. I think it is in the last group of woods. It is at the edge of the woods next to the field with a sign next to woods. (You also can stop at the older brick house on Toxish RD before the crossroad, walk behind the house and follow the edge of group of woods to to end)
