Wade and Shelton Family Bible Records

Thank you for allowing me to submit my Lee, Pontotoc and Union County Mississippi family history. The following four families lived, died, and married, in these three counties.

Children: Bible Page has the following names listed: (I have this Bible) All were born in Saltillo, Lee County, MS. Bible Page – Family Record

They all signed their names – and I know for a fact – not ONE broke their promise to God.

(Wonder how the world would be – if every home had a page in their Bible and obeyed it)

JOHN FRANKLIN KNOWLES (son of Samuel from Nottingham, England. He and his two wives are buried side by side in Camp Creek Cemetery.

His first wife, Elizabeth died and he married Mary Ann Hardin. They belonged to the Church at Camp Creek for 42 years. (It is on her tombstone) Orval Knowles – Blue Mt. Miss has written a book about, Sam from Nottingham.

John Franklin Knowles 1854- 1924 married Sarah Elizabeth (Bettie) Putman 1858-1933 In Guntown, Miss.
