Seeking info re: James Graham who in Pike Co. signed a widow's pension application in 1871, along with Hezekiah Magee. Believe he may be the James G, b. ca. 1782-88 in SC; was on 1812 tax list for Washington Parish, La. Wife, Ellender (Ellen,Nellie) Brewer Graham. Did he die in Pike Co? When? Will exchange info. I have traced my paternal grandmother's ancestery (Hope) in Osyka back to Richard and Ann Tyler Simmons who came to this area between 1808 and 1812. They were both born in South Carolina in 1770 and 1776 respectfully. This info came from the book Bala Chitto Simmons' by Judge Hansford Simmons. I would be happy to share this info with you if you do not already have it. I am interested in gathering info on my maternal grandmother who was a Farrell who married Roy Jones. She was the daughter of Samuel R. Farrell who co-owned the first brick yard in Osyka. I would appreciate any help in locating info on these ancestors.
