greatgrandfather and his children Greatgrandfather: BAILEY DYKES married ELDORA
either WELCH OR JENKINS. THEIR CHILDREN: HANCE, DUDLEY, ELLA, EFFIE, ENGLAND
born: either 1899 or 1900, WALTER born :December 15, 1903. BAILEY DYKES was
killed by a train . He was hard of hearing and didn't hear the whistle. Eldora
remarried either a DAVIS or CHISOLM.

December of 1901. Robert was born October 1881 and Rhoda was born November
1884. (Marriage on record in Brookhaven, Ms.) Will Martin married Lizzie
Rushing in January 1901. Lizzie was born September 1882. (Marriage on record in
Brookhaven, Ms.) Robert and Rhoda were my grandparents and any information you

I am looking for information concerning a
Hugh Lawson White buried in Holloywood Cemetery in McComb, MS. My grandfather
William B. White is according to my father Riley d.1985 the brother of Hugh
Lawson White. I am looking for any living relatives or anyone else who could
provide me with any information regarding , precedents, descendents and/or
relatives of Hugh Lawson White. William Burt White met my grandmother, known as
Charity Green d.1957 (previous marriage) in DeQueen, AR where my father Riley
was born in 1912. There was another son named Burt d. circa 1930's in an
oilfield accident in OK The family moved to Wewoka, OK where William B. White
worked as a typesetter at a local newspaper. He died in the 20's and is buried
in Wewoka, OK. Riley married Mary Theresa Brazino b. OKC, OK 1929 and the
couple had 7 children. Danny Eugene (me) the oldest, Theresa Josephine,
Margaret Ann, twins John Riley d.1986 and Charles WiIliam, Stephen Gregory and

Looking for the grandchildren or
great-grandchildren of Robert Nathaneal HOWARD who was born around 1865 and
died in Canton, MS in the mid-1930s. He is buried in Hollywood cemetery,
McCOMB, MS next to his first wife, Alice Reagan Howard. At his death he was
survived by his daughter Mrs Eulice Howard REEVES (wife of Morris REEVES) of
Brookhaven, and sons Mr. Harry P. HOWARD of Canton, Mr. Joe HOWARD of Crystal
Springs/Hillsburg, Mr. Homer HOWARD of Indianapolis, IND, step-mother, Mrs.
Martha (E. Reagan Howard) Owens of Osyka, and 16 grandchildren and two sisters,
Mrs. Margie Howard BENTON of Jackson and Mrs. Edna Howard Underwood POWELL of
Magnolia. R.N. Howard's 2nd wife was my great-Aunt Rosie BROWN. She passed on
to us an old family bible and several pictures to include ones made from tin.
One of those pictures is of R. N. HOWARD's dad, Parmenas HOWARD, who was a
Methodist minister from 1865 until his death in 1910. Also, what are the dates
recorded on R.N. HOWARD's headstone? Please contact me at

Bethea and Mary E. LeGette who lived in Summit until ca 1913. His great
grandson Johnny Bethea ran the theater in McComb, MS. until his death recently.
Also had family in Fernwood, MS. His daughter Martha May Bethea married William
Trawick Griffin also of Summit, MS and who was later a pharmacist and methodist
Minister. Also interested in any local hisorian familiar with the yellow fever
epidemic of 1878. WT Griffin's family was almost wiped out. Would like to share
original info.
