Breland Cemetery

Breland Cemetery - T. 1 S - R. 10 W - Sec. 4 ( South off State Highway 29 at Old Oak Grove) At the C.B. Breland old store, turn south onto Hwy 15 & Benndale Rd. about 6 miles to Synder Road (Forestry Rd. 305) go west to Cypress Creek, just across the bridge, a Forest road with a road closure bar across what used to be a road, just a walking trail. Go about a half mile; the road forks, take a right and go about another half mile and the cemetery is on the left, close to the road.

There were as many as eight (8) and maybe more graves without markers, just mounds.

1)- Vesta Ann (Breland) Howard ( wife of Henry Howard) - Mar. 13-1852 / Aug. 21-1906

2)- Henry Howard (age 65 years) / Sept. 25-1903

3)- Martin "Mart" Breland -(husband of Caroline Breland)- Mar. 22-1828 / Jan. 24 - 1877

4)- Infant of C. & I. Breland ? (Calvin & Idella) Breland) - Oct. 12 - 1904 / Oct. 22 – 1904

5) There are eight (8) or more unmarked graves, presumably many more from the size.
