Herrington from an article that appears in the Richton Dispatch Dated
10/3/1996. This article was authored by Richard Roman, who has published
several books on Perry County residents. Mr. Roman is a member of the
South Mississippi Genealogical Society.

had settled in Perry County when it was formed in 1820.
