To the Honorable John J. Beauchamp, Judge of the Probate Court
in & for Noxubee County & State of Mississippi.

Your petitioners John H Greer and Mary A. Greer his wife would
humbly represent unto your honor that Stringer Perkins late of
said county departed this life some time in the year 1842 and
that by his last will and testament he appointed Margaret
J. Clements sole executrix on his estate which was of great value.
Your petitioners would that the said Margaret J. Clements entered into
bond in the sum of one hundred thousand dollars in the Probate Court of
said county according to the statute in such case made and provided
with James Poindexter and your Petitioner Mary A. Sanders who
has since intermarried with your Petitioner John H. Greer as her
securities and obtained letters testamentary upon said estate.
Your petitioners would further show that some time after the
execution of said bond the said Margaret J. Clements intermarried
with said James Poindexter one of her securities on said bond who
in right of his wife then became executor on said estate. Your
petitioner Mary S. Greer would further show that after she bound
herself as surety on said bond she intermarried with your petitioner
John H. Greer. Your petitioners owing to the peculiar circumstances
of the case consider themselves in danger of suffering by reason
of the said suretyship and therefor pray you Honor to summons the
said James Poindexter & his wife, Margaret J. Poindexter, executor
& executrix on said estate to --ants a new bond with sufficient
security and release your petitioners. Your petitioners pray you
hold to grant them such relief in the -remises as they are justly
entitled to under the statute and your petitioners will --- pray
