January 16, 1930

Mr. & Mrs. Walter B. Maben and Bob Person of Memphis visited George Johnson who is sick.

Alex Harris spent Saturday and Sunday night in Germantown, Miss. Nell Jowers accompanied him home to spend Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Chandler.

Mrs. Bessie Mitchell and little daughter of Meridian spent several days with her father, Joe Karr last week.

Mr. & Mrs. T.D. Coopwood and Mrs. Will Person were in Memphis one day last week.

Prof. L. F. Hall spent the weekend in Oxford with his father who is ill.

Miss Imojine Jowers of Germantown spent the weekend at home.

Mrs. Kit King spent Sunday with her mother near Collierville.

James Hurdle broke his leg last week.

David Thomas was buried here Saturday. A large crowd attended the funeral.

Julian McDonel of Nashville visited relatives here last week.

Mr. and Mrs. William Petty of Memphis spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Crawley.

Mrs. T. D. Coopwood and children were in Holly Springs Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Boatwright of Memphis visited Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Chandler Sunday.

Mrs. Willie Jarvis and son, Billie of Slayden visited Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Crawley and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jarvis Sunday.

Misses Nell and Imojine Jowers of Germantown spent the weekend at home.

Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Owen and Julian McDowell visited in Rossville Friday.

Mrs. W. T. Chandler is spending several days in Memphis with her daughter, Mrs. J. O. Boatwright.

Mr. and Mrs. Eliot McDugle and daughter of Memphis have moved into Mrs. Sallie Hings' home.

Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Coopwood moved to the Sanders house and George Cothern has moved to their place.

George Johnson is on the sick list.

Marlin Boyd and Morris Jowers were in Memphis Saturday.
