I was very concerned when I was there in July 1998
after seeing bulldozers tearing up the ground all around this cemetery,
knocking down trees and turning dirt.  I pray that they are not destroying
the cemetery.  (notation by Clare Herrick.)

Location: About nine miles east of Starkville,
Mississippi, just south of Highway182, at the county
line of Oktibbeha and Lowndes Counties. The cemetery
is probably in Lowndes County, White Section Abandoned.
