Susan C. Cooper was b. 19 Jan, 1817
William B. Cooper was b. 1 Nov, 1809

      James Lee Walton (1855-1914), who married Margaret Elizabeth Cooper,
was the son of Enoch Walton (1834-1862) and Saphronia Murrell Walton (b. 1839).
Saphronia's father was Rev. Lee Powell Murrell, a Baptist minister, who with 2
other ministers (Rev. Nathan Clarke & Rev. B. Fore ) in 1867 organized the
Baptist Church in Lake, Scott Co., Ms. with 8 charter members.
      Enoch Walton (b. 1834) was the son of James Walton (b. 1800 in Barnwell
Dist., S.C. ; d. 1854) and Nancy Ann Miller Walton (married 1829 in Clark Co., Ala. )
      James Walton (b. 1800) was the son of John Walton (b. 1777 in S.C. ; d.
1850 in Newton Co., Ms.) and Sarah McMillan Walton (b. 1778 in S.C. ; d. 1862)
daughter of Nathan McMillan (in 1816 Census living in Clark Co., Ala.)
      James Lee Walton & Margaret Elizabeth Cooper Walton were the great
grandparents of Otis Bennett (Ben) Walton III, 1600 Eastover Dr., Jackson,
Ms., present (1974) owner of the Wm. B. Cooper Bible.
