Soul's Rest Cemetery, with a small Afro-American section

Take Hwy 8 west from Houston to Trebloc. About 1 mile past Trebloc, Ms
take the Una Road, first road to the right. Continue on this road about 3/4
miles. The cemtery is on the left side of the road on top of a hill in a
pasture.
This cemetery was cataloged by James Clark about 1980-1981.  Note:
Location map for church and cemetery at bottom of page.
 
 

At the time Mr. Clark cataloged this cemetery, he included the following note
on the condition of the cemetery: "This cemetery is in very bad shape.
Someone has fenced it in in the past few years to keep cows and other stock
out. (It is located in a pasture that has been in use for some time.) A lot
of the
markers were broken and/or have been on the ground for so long that they
cannot be read.  I recorded all I could. The grass and weeds are head tall
and
this area is thickly wooded."
