THIS INDENTURE, Made on the 30th, day of June A. D. One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixteen by and between Abe Lantz and Laura L. Lantz, his wife, of Monroe County, State of Mississippi, parties of the first part, and Lee Lantz of the County of Monroe, in the State of Mississippi, party of the second part, Witnesseth: That the parties of the first part, in consideration of the sume of Nine Hundred and No/100--- Dollars, to . . paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these Presents, GRANT, BARGAIN AND SELL, CONVEY AND CONFIRM unto the said party of the second part . . . heirs and assigns, the following described Lots, Tracts or Parcels of Land lying, being and situate in the County of Monroe, and State of Mississippi, known and described as follows:
Forty acres of land being the NE 1/2 of NE 1/4 of Sec. 20, and also a strip 25 feet off of West end SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of NE 1/4, Sec. 20. Also Twenty acres off of West and NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 Sec. 21, less a strip off of South end 25 feet wide, estimated to be about Sixty acres more or less all in Township Fourteen, Range Seven being Northwest of Aberdeen, Miss., about two miles.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the premises aforesaid with all and singular the rights, titles, privileges, appurtenances and immunities thereto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, both at law and equity, unto the said party of the second part, and unto his heirs and assigns forever, in fee simple. And the said party of the first part, for his heirs, executors and administrators, does hereby covenant and agree with the said party of the second part, . . . heirs and assigns, that the said part of the first part will Warrant and Defend the title to the said premises unto the said party of the second part and unto his heirs and assigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whomsoever, except on account of taxes due after the 30th, day of June. 1916

Monroe County. } Personally appeared before me C. E. Hamilton, a Notary Public, of the County of Monroe, the within named Abe Lantz & Laura Lantz, his wife, who acknowledged that they signed, sealed and delivered the foregoing Warranty Deed on the day and year therein mentioned, as their act and deed.
