P. Holland, Trustee Deed To J. S. Fowlkes
The
State of Mississippi }
County of Monroe }
By virtue of the authority vested in me
as substituted trustee in a certain deed of trust executed
by Zack Coats on the 24th day of January 1889, to leave
the payment of a certain indebtedness herein named to M.
A. Dilworth and duly recorded in the Chancery Clerk’s
office of the County of Monroe, State of Mississippi in
Book “H” at page 171 and default in the payment
of said indebtedness having been made by the said Zack Coats.
I, as said substituted trustee, have this day according
to the provisions of said deed of trust sold the following
described lands lying being and situated in said County
& State, to wit: the NE ¼ of the SW ¼
and the SW ¼ of the NE ¼, Section Five (5),
Township Thirteen (13) Range Eighteen (18) West containing
80 acres when J. S. Fowlkes because the highest and best
bidder therefore at the sum of Two Hundred and seventy-five
Dollars and having paid said sum of money, I now convey
said land to him.
