Martha Dale's Diploma from Aberdeen Female College - 1852

Martha Dale was the daughter of Hugh Dale and Catherine Clanton. She was born 16 July 1834 in Sumter County, Alabama. Her family moved to Kemper County, Mississippi in 1854. She married William Carter Sansom 14 January 1857 in Scooba, Kemper County, Mississippi. She died 7 September 1910 in Okolona, Chickasaw County, Mississippi and is buried in the Old Union Cemetery in Monroe County next to her husband, although there is no marker for the grave. [Martha is the submitter's great great grandmother.]
